Just the trailer has issues. But the truck lights work fine. Just the trailer has issues. Yep. The fuses are for the trailer lights only. The truck’s signals will still work. If you pop the cover off the fuse box under the hood, I believe they are #16 and #17 fuses.

Why does my GMC Duramax have no power to trailer?

Turned out that upon closer inspection the 40A fuse for Stud#1 was blown. It looked fine from the top but when I pulled it out it was no good. If it is hooked up and did blow a fuse it would be one of the square ones furthest inboard that protects the #1 post. Your slide must have overloaded the fuse. Mine is a 40 amp if I remember correctly.

Where is the MAXI fuse on a Duramax hot lead?

To provide power to the trailer hot lead, the 40 Amp Maxi-Fuse (which is BEC. The Underhood BEC is located on the left side of the engine compartment. The trailer battery ring terminal on Stud #2 is fused with 30 Amp Maxi-Fuse.
