Why does the hazard warning switch stay illuminated?

Solved it! It was actually the ‘Welcome Home’ light switch (the one below the main light switch which holds the side lights on for 40 seconds after you lock the car) causing the problem. This was actually remaining illuminated constantly too, as well as the Hazard Switch.
