Why wont my dump trailer go up?
Why wont my dump trailer go up?
If trailer seems to attempt to dump, goes up a few inches and stops, it is likely that the hydraulic pressure from the truck is going into the wrong line/coupler. Double check to be sure that pressure line into the trailer is connected to the outermost (most roadside) connection on the trailer frame.
How do you test a solenoid on a dump trailer?
While pushing the up button probe the solenoid at the red wire, if the light is on the solenoid is getting power. While pushing the Down button probe the terminal where green wire attaches to the dump trailer fluid solenoid it should light up.
How do you test a hydraulic cylinder for bypassing?
The conventional way of testing the integrity of the piston seal in a double-acting cylinder is to pressurize the cylinder at the end of stroke and measure any leakage past the seal. This is commonly referred to as the “end-of-stroke bypass test”.
How does a PTO dump truck work?
PTO (Power Take Off) generates power by changing engine rotation to “Hydraulic”. Hydraulic pressure is a mechanism that uses fluid called hydraulic fluid as an energy transmission medium. Hydraulic have the advantage of being able to move big thing with little power.
Where is the hydraulic dump bed on a John Deere Gator?
Deere dealer said “no”, that seems wrong (or at least dumb)? May or may not be true on yours (and it might be a pain) but on mine you can access the cotter pin and the connector holding the lift motor to the frame of the bed from above the exhaust and under the bed of the gator (from the back).
Why is the dump box on my Gator not working?
I have an 825i, 2015, with power dump box issues. Last fall (2020) it stuck open. Checked many things and found out it was corroded contacts on connector that is mounted inside the gator frame. Now this week, the box won’t lift.
Where is the ALU plug on a Gator dump bed?
It is the small alu plug on the forward facing side of the actuator. There are 2 aluminum plugs on forward facing side of the actuator. The smaller on is the valve. An allen wrench is used to open the manual release valve. I opened the valve 4 turns & then used a clamp to partially compress the cylinder.
Is the actuator on a Gator still working?
I reconnected the actuator to the Gator & it worked fine. Although it does not make as much noise when it fully extends & fully retracts. From the time I got the Gator, the actuator would scream when it hit the up & down limits. It no longer does that. I also found an important piece of information on the actuator.
