Actuators, air housing with blend doors,evap temp sensor,thermostat,both heater cores and THREE dash removals were involved before this finally repaired the issue of heat on drivers area and cold on passenger side. The heater core covers the area of air box that sends air to left and right chambers.

I didn’t believe it either but I raised the front of the vehicle about 3 feet to allow the air from both front and rear to travel to the radiator and using a fill funnel with engine running “burped ” the system. it is not the blend door .the blend door controls the blending of inside and outside air intake only. 2010 dodge journey heater blows hot on drivers side and Coold on the passenger side. Took it to the dealer ask them to change the bad acucurarator. They said it was good and working like it should. So I looked at it myself and it is working.
