Well I have replaced the ICP sensor and rebulit the IPR and I’m still spitting out code P1280. What is the next thing I sould try in order to correct my stumbling bumbling truck with the ICP sensor hooked up. When its disconnected she runs fine except for the check engine light.

Where is the deflection on pin 87 on a Ford truck?
If resistance is lower here, repair short to ground in signal wire circuit 812 (DB/LG). If the resistance is off on the earlier ohm test, you’ve got a short in that wire between the ICP & PCM connector. Well pins 90 and 91 are less than 5 ohms. Pin 87 has no deflection on the meter, so I guess that is where my problem lies, some where in that wire?
