The same issue Traverse 2012, during the day in bright sunlight it goes almost blank, but in the night or shade it i ok, also sometimes when I smack above the dash it works for sometime and then goes back dark Just took our 2015 Traverse in for the same issue. They said it is the cluster and need to replace the entire instrument panel.
