No boost and a whining from the turbo, abit like a belt slipping noise and the turbo was very hot after a couple of minutes. The only clue was a kazoo type noise as it came on boost the week before it died, i thought this was the new DV fitted by the “specialist” as i wasn’t clued on the car at the time.

Its came back making the whoooping noise and being new to turbos thought it was the new DV they’d fitted making the noise. 😡 Turbo died within a week, i think they thrashed it cold and parked it hot as they ask me if it was chipped as it felt quick… apart from the WW2 smoke screen behind you… how do you tell you have a dead turbo?
