Some GM trucks will make a noise like you describe but its the transmission that’s the culprit and the noise/thump appears to come from the passenger foot well area. Does it feel like the truck lunges forward and makes the sound?

Ok my truck is at the dealer for the same clunk I have had for 2 years and they can’t find anything wrong. I thought it was the intermediate shaft since all the parts that it could be from wear have been replaced and are all ok They can’t find anything wrong but they hear the noise too?

Can a Silverado clunk over a bump?

Clunk at low speeds over bumps front end pass side. 07 Silverado NBS Checked the X-member bolts i was able to tighten them by hand initially. Torqued both sides to 70Ft/lbs, no more clunk. . Tightened the 18mm Xmember bolts, got 3/4 turn out of the driver’s side and about a 1/2 turn on the passenger side.
