Why does my Ford Transit Mk7 not start?

Have recently brought myself a 2007 Transit MK7 2.4 TDCi T350 LWB RWD 100 Base Model in White, love it been a spot on van for past month or so, faultless. Went to start it at the weekend, and the red flashing light in the middle of dash flashing constant, and wont start, have power to everything else etc. As if immobilzer is stuck on!
