The remote functions all work normally – lock/unlock and hatch open/close, so I suspect it’s something on board that’s not recognizing the fob, rather than the fob battery. Only thing I haven’t tried yet is to disconnect the vehicle battery (and I’d rather not have to resort to that) but I’d welcome any suggestions before I call the dealer.

Chrysler Roadside Assistance sent a truck, and it’s on the way to the dealer. Glad I got the Lifetime Max Care! Just heard from the dealer – the Radio Frequency Hub Module wasn’t communicating with the system. They disconnected the battery, reset the module, and it’s working again.
