Since new its made a noise which sounds allot like the transmission slipping. (can’t be it’s an aisin, no body has problems with the aisin) It was only doing it at speed between 35 and 40 and only while pulling heavy loads. (36′ 5th wheel). I pick the truck up and guess what…now it makes that noise every time between 35-40 without a load.
Are there any issues with the Dodge 3500?

Why does my Cummins quickserve make a ticking noise?
Check to see if you still have your noise panel covering up your injector lines. When this is missing, the ticking noise from the HPFP is noticeably louder. If you need any other diagrams then let me know. I have access to Cummins Quickserve.
Is 300, 000 miles too much for a Cummins?
Q: 300,000 miles too much for a Cummins? I read that Cummins engines last up to 400xxx miles and I’m looking at a 4×4 Dodge Cummins 2nd gen 24v for only $3500 but it has 286xxx miles… good idea or no? It Has a new tranny new transfer case, new starter altnator lift pump and valves have recently been set.

What kind of engine makes a ticking noise when idling?
I own a 2013 2500 diesel with a G-56. 39,000 miles. The engine makes a loud ticking sound at all times. When idling, driving, clutch depressed or not. It seems to be coming from around the back of the engine or bellhousing area.
