My 2005 Ford Mondeo TDCi has just started to make a noise, like a tinkling, when starting. The garage tells me that this is likely to be the DMF. I have had the car from 37,000 miles, now done 160,000, is this likely, I assume it would also be worth changing the clutch at the same time? Still on the original so I suppose it has done very well.
