What kind of engine does a Ford Escape have?

I’ve put an OBD2 on it and my turbo *seems* to be okay. It will have a vacuum at low RPM then at wide open it will get up to 15/16PSI or so. At highway speeds the car seems to do fine and not have bouncing or dropping RPM issues.
