The wheels spin freely like the front differential is not engaged. Like I said, I replaced the front axle actuator, pulled it off again and it goes in and out, put it back on and still no locking of the diff? Kind of stumped, might take it to a mechanic.

Everything’s a guess from here on out. @dagosa The new style transfer case’s like what in my 06 GMC, are not like the old style that you need to use once in a while. The new ones (been this way since the late 90’s) are shifted with motor on side of transfer case.

Bolt back in driveshaft and if you jack up truck on 4 jackstands and run in 4×4 if front driveshaft spins t-case is engaged and motor is working correctly. This means you have a problem is the t-case.
