Why are my cooling fans not working on my 2005 Silverado?

2005 Silverado Z71 cooling fans not working. Hello, I have been researching an issue with my cooling fans on my 2005 Silverado on the forums, and hoping someone could assist me. With my scanner hooked to the truck, the engine temperature will go up to 220F and fans will not come on.
