The most common reason for flickering lights is a worn out alternator, as one of the three rotating plates that generate electricity wears out. So as the unit hits the “dead spot,” the power wanes, causing the lights to flicker. Replace the alternator if it fails to produce more than 13 volts, or tests bad.

Why are my dash lights and gauges flashing?

Have the main integrated fuse relay box checked for connection issues. The fuse box on these vehicle have been known to cause stalling issues along with other erratic electrical issues. Contact a dealer to see if your vehicle may have a recall for the box replacement.

Why does my O / D light keep flashing?

Then the O/D light started to flash and then a whole bunch of other ones (WTS,cruise,water in fuel etc..) all rapidly and intermittently with the truck sitting in park. I shut it off and started it back up and had the same thing happen.
