How are the solenoids on a crane connected?
Trace out the ground wires on the solenoids. My crane has two leads on each solenoid coil. On one set of coils, three of the terminals are tied together and connected to a ground stud. I placed a jumper on the grounds for the other three coils (boom down, hoist up, extend out) and connected it to the same ground stud.
