Why did my driver’s side headlight burn out?

Most of the mounting holes are oversize and the slots where the headlight mounts are very wide and long. The headlight is free to rattle around and burn out bulbs, and the focus changed and cannot be corrected because the headlight is not stationary. I needed it quick, but am keeping the truck so I’ll end up buying an OEM replacement soon.
