In order to reset the unit, you must locate the security code. After you unplug your negative battery cable or unplug the wires in the back of the stereo, wait a few minutes, then plug it back on. turn your ignition in the on position and wait for the word “code” to come across the screen. Once prompted, enter the code and the unit will be reset.
