Look up from under your truck by the oil filter, you will find it threaded into the block. its the only sensor in the block on the drivers side. It may not be the sensor. I had this problem a couple of weeks ago, and with some help from The Diesel Place, I found out the stepper motor for the gauge panel goes out frequently.
