The fuel pump control module on a 2014 Ford F-150 is located directly above the spare tire. In order to lower the spare tire, take the ignition key and unlocked the safety cap to the right of the license plate.

Ha!! my 2014 F150 was doing the same thing. Some times it would start and some times all it would do is crank over. I just checked #27 fuse under the hood and sure enough, it had been getting hot and melting plastic over the connection on one side of the fuse. Guess that explains why sometimes it would start and sometimes it wouldnt.
