What was the issue with my Acadia traction control?
I had the same issue on my wifes 2014′ Acadia, the Traction Control Off, Service Stabilitrak, Reduced Engine Power and flashing Service Engine Light turns on and this issue occurred intermittently for around 4 months. I took it in to the repair shop and they couldn’t find out what was wrong because at the time, it wasn’t showing a code.
Why did my Trac off light come on?
Please note Trac Off light will show due to oxigen mix issues (no relation with traction control but that is the way they show this). I got the same issue (Corolla 2015, 67000miles) after putting some gas. Check codes: P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1.
Why is my GMC Acadia in two wheel drive?

How often does traction control off, Service StabiliTrak turn on?
The car currently has ~95K miles. The Traction Control Off, Service Stabilitrak, Reduced Engine Power and flashing Service Engine Light turns on and this issue has occurred intermittently. It has happened as much as 2-3 times per month and then the car will go for a couple months without any problems only for it to rear its ugly head again.

Why is my GMC Acadia still at the dealer?
I still have no answer for this elusive problem. Actually our Acadia is still at the dealer as several other issues came up: the same ABS/service traction and stabilitrak light, the electric cooling fans running continuously even when vehicle is cold such as on 1st start up of the day and a broken lumbar support function driver seat.
What’s the service code on a GMC Acadia?
According to service advisor at dealer they found only a C0161 code in the memory bank/history and no active code.
