Hello all, I have a 2014 1500 WT 4.3L Silverado with 101600 miles and recently got the P06DD code. I took it to the dealership and they stated that the oil pump solenoid is faulty and that the rear main housing is leaking oil.

Why does my Silverado Sierra have bad oil pressure?
I had the same issue on my 2015 5.3. I was told the solenoid is near the oil pump. The dealer replaced both the oil pump and solenoid on my truck. My oil pump sounded like a power steering pump with a bad bearing. I assume the 4.3 is similar to the 5.3.
