This particular seal came out easily…..some are harder. You have to be real careful not to lever on or scratch the crank…..inevitably the scratch will be right on the sealing surface area of the crank, and it’ll leak permanently. You can normally just push the seal back in place by hand, or using an appropriate tool.
How much does it cost to replace oil seal?
OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT! You can buy a single seal…..but Scrappy sells a seal set for $15. On the 150 GY6, the seal on the variator side can be replaced easily without taking the motor apart. You will need to pull off the kick-starter gear…that’s not easy.
