Why does my truck pull to one side when braking?

Hey, has anyone had any problems with severe pulling to one side when braking? My truck (’98 Ram 2500 4×4 V10) pulls extremely hard to the left when you apply the brakes. Unless there’s another obstruction in the braking line (mech. says there isn’t), there’s nothing in the ABS system to make the left brake drag w/o my input the way it does. Unless.

An easy way to check this is too take the car for a drive while using the brakes heavily. Then use an infrared laser temperature reader to rear the temperature of each rotor. Place the beam of the meter in close to the same place on each front right and left rotor.
