I have a 2011 HD2500 duramax with poor exhaust fluid light on. Third trip to Dealer knock sensors and sensors. Not fixed yet 2011 3500 srw. Poor quality def. took to dealer. Said nozzle was clogged drained tank new fluid. Next day light on again. Back to dealer. New tank new pump new wiring harness. 4 days later light back on again Getting tired
Is the Def fluid quality poor on a GMC Duramax?
According to Dennis Dillon techs who are (supposed) to be GM certified. They said there is no DTC errors. Those were cleared. #2 NOx sensor replaced and on the DIC portion it shows def fluid quality poor and shows speed restriced to 55mph.
Are there any problems with my GMC Duramax Diesel?
No problems with the truck thus far except the “70mph vibration”. Hopefully it can get repaired by close tomorrow. The part that scared me is that the diesel mechanic I spoke to said all is dependant on the parts availability. Phillip

What does poor quality exhaust fluid really mean?
The dreaded ‘poor quality’ message and accompanied by P20EE and P207F. I drive this truck on the highway a lot – do 60+ miles regularly at 70+ MPH. I tow, and yea I do the around-the-town driving too. Doesn’t come on and indicate a regen is needed… just gives me the message.
