I have a 2004 Ford Courier, 2.5 lt turbo diesel, 160,000 klms. It was running well when it was switched off. Next morning when i tried to start it, the motor turned over fine but will not start. Changed fuel filter, but made no difference. Took hose off at hand pump, no fuel coming.

Big end bearing, Heads,diffs and gearboxes are the problems with these apparently but ive had no troubles as i change the oils and look after mine and they towed and worked like champions, very easy to work on to in my opinion as you don’t need to be a computer programmer. How does the Ford Courier feel to drive?
The Courier feels quite different to modern utes to drive. It is soft and you experience a lot of body roll. The steering offers little feel and takes a lot of turn on the wheel to react. Both the shifter and clutch are smooth, although quite heavy to shift. The brakes are reasonably responsive – the XL did not get anti-lock braking as standard.
