Why does my clock flash when I Turn on the radio?

We actually had the same model truck in the shop last week and it was having the same issues, when you turned on the radio power it would only cause the clock to flash. After testing all the electrical side of things we discovered it was the actual radio, or the Audio Control Module as Ford calls it
