Is the Ford PowerStroke empty but not empty?
DEF says it’s empty but it’s not.. Picked up my truck earlier this week after they replaced the fuel system… and note came up to fill def, but it was almost full before it went in the shop. I added a gallon yesterday but it didn’t reset the deal and I’m running out of miles.

Then in 2017, last winter, The DEF heater in the tank failed and it immediately went into “Slow” mode. Dealer replaced it under warranty and all was well. Now in 2018 with 110,000 miles, the light came on when in fact I had 3.5 gallons in the 5 gallon tank. The light went off and no problem since.
