Leaky fuel lines will produce drips, or in more serious cases, puddles of fuel on the undersides of the vehicle. Depending on which fuel injection lines are leaking, the fuel leaks will usually be at the front or rear of the vehicle.

Why is fuel leaking from the quick disconnect fitting?

As soon as the key is turned on the fuel line will pressurize that is if the fuel pump is working correctly. The bike will not start without the fuel line being pressurized. I know you tried this but just in case you didn’t you have to pull down the quick disconnect fitting on the tank for it to seat correctly.

What to do if your fuel tank is leaking?

End up draining the tank completely and turning the tank upside down on my workbench. Replace O ring, put back on and still leaking. Take back off and fiddle with the check valve.
