Looks like there is an adjustment for the parking brake cable along the driver side frame. This bolt looks like it tightens the cable for both the passenger side, and drivers side parking brake pads. It was pretty rusty so I sprayed it down with some PB blaster, I’ll try and adjust it on another day.
Can you adjust parking brake with star wheel?
I looked under there and didnt see any “star wheel” adjusters, and I”v ebeen told not to mess with cable adjuster. Parking brake adjustment is controlled by a cable tensioner mechanism. The cable tensioner, once adjusted at the factory, should not need further adjustment under normal circumstances.
Can You Park on a hill with a parking brake?
The guy said it doesn’t hold. of course we can park on a hill, turn the wheels to the curb, and leave it in gear.. but that doesn’t adequately answer this guys issue and when I went searching I was appalled by the dribble on this forum.

No if the adjuster cable and park brake mechanisms are all corroded and siezed up from road salt.

My car would roll down a slight incline with the parking brake engaged. This is not good because I do not want the weight of the car on my manual transmission I want it on the parking brake.
