RPO code for my truck (2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD) says the rear differential is a G80 Limited Slip Positraction. I’m having issues on slow turns where it seems to get stuck running both sides at same speed, so the wheels skip and there’s loud clunking noises.
Why does my Chevy Silverado not go into 4WD?
Wire brushed it down and nothing changed. My 4wd would blink but not engage. It would engage into lower gear in 4lo but wouldn’t actually go into 4wd. Taking a closer look at the wires, I noticed that there is a small ground wire that was hidden in the tube that got unconnected. Simply put a new connector on it and works like a charm now!
