The passenger side of the car is getting no/some heat. The first time I noticed, the heat dial was always in the red. The driver’s side is blowing almost uncomfortably hot air. Meanwhile both passenger’s side vents are blowing cool air.
Why is cold air blowing out of passenger side vents?
Not sure if this indicates anything but the passenger’s side; pipe to the heater core was hot to the touch. If I change the mode to defrost, it appears ONLY cool air will blow out of the windshield defroster vents on the passenger’s side. But hot air (as expected) on the driver’s side.

The heater core works in the same manner as the radiator. Air being blown through the core is what cools it down. While the air heats up to make the cab warm. “Don’t just drive CRUZE!”

The first thing to check will be to see if there is any air in the system and to top off the fluid. If there is a small coolant leak in the system an air pocket can form and reduce the heating capacity on one side. The system should be bleed and topped off.

it is not the blend door .the blend door controls the blending of inside and outside air intake only. 2010 dodge journey heater blows hot on drivers side and Coold on the passenger side. Took it to the dealer ask them to change the bad acucurarator. They said it was good and working like it should. So I looked at it myself and it is working.
