Is the blower motor on my Chevy Colorado working?
My blower motor will not work at all, NOT on 1, 2, 3, or 4. However when I turn the selector from 0 to 1 I read 12v at the plug that goes into the motor. When I change to 2, 3, or 4 still reads 12V.
What can I do about intermittent blower motor?
Try cleaning it by cycling the control from minimum to maximum rapidly a dozen times or so with the truck off. If that does not work you could take the HVAC controller out and try to get some spray electrical contact cleaner inside the rheostat and again swiping it a number of times.
Where is the Colorado blower not resistor plug?
Open your passenger side door. Remove the plastic trim right on the floor. Under where the door would be when it’s closed. Then remove that kick panel under the dash. There should be a big blue plug behind there. Unplug it and check the connections. I think it’s the brown wire. It melted in that plug and caused it to lose connection.

Can a blower motor work on high # 4?
Sometimes will not work at all then all of the sudden it will start working. Blower motor has only worked on high #4 since I had 42000 miles on the truck. If I wiggle the warning harness under the glove box, 1 & 2 will work until I hit a bump or stop suddenly.
