Is the MSD 8365 carb a bad carb?
MSD 8365 ditributor, coil, 6AL2, 8.5 wires, everything is new and works. tested for vacuum leaks, none. could I be looking at a bad (questionable) carb?? I have not had the greatest of luck with these, either the customers got “blems”, or just a run of bad luck….but a 1/2 dozen in a row….I’ll leave it at that.

Intake has a fully divided plenum, which is why I am running a 1/2″ open spacer under it. was thinking about putting my 1″ open on it just to try. Bob (carb guru) says the carb looks like a really nice piece, and responded well to tuning. The engine starts right up and practically idles right away cold. just crazy rich.
What kind of CARB does brawler Dyno use?
So Im watching this. carb used on the dyno was an old Baker Induction piece (builder from here in PA) dont know the exact specs on it unfortunately, just it flowed 950 cfm. I do have the dyno sheet somewhere at the house, have to look tonight.
