It is usually in an AUX Outlet. Also check thr Fuse Relay Box under the Hood for a Blown Fuse using the Same Method.

My Tacoma didn’t come with the over head compass, so I picked the needed overhead console up at a nearby junkyard for $50. The existing compass in the console I bought from he junkyard was bad (no surprise) as the resistor and the circuit board was burned beyond repair.
