At around 65,000 miles, the seals on the PTU started leaking. It leaks right on to the exhaust system sending burning gear oil fumes into the car. Took the car in and had the PTU pulled for inspection. The 8oz of gear oil had turned into a metal paste and destroyed the PTU.
