After adding Steel Seal and letting car cool, I had to drive car at highway speed for 5 miles before smoke stopped. No smoke now, car runs smooth and strong, heat is excellent. I cannot believe this stuff works.

Immediately had to suck out thick gel from expansion tank and also remove panels to get access to take off radiator hoses. in this video I did discuss how Steel Seal, and other fixafluids, are no good, but since posting this video, my opinion has greatly changed on how well Steel Seal really works. I’m now for it for many different situations, but I do believe a lot of the time it is a good idea to go ahead and just change the Head Gasket.

You run the car for about 15 to 30 minutes, with the heater and fan on high. Then the special chemicals in the sealant work via heat. They will seek out and fit in cracks and gaps in the head gasket. Then they’ll harden to complete the repair. These sealants might not be the most permanent and could wear down over time.
