Panic stop from about 35mph and the pedal felt like ABS kicked in, slowly, and I stopped fine, no lockup. Right after that the ABS light turned on. Coming off the interstate I tried this again at around 55mph. This produced a sweet 20 degree rotation on the rear trying to switch ends with the front. Left rear tire locked for sure.

Ford wants $1200 for the repair ($800 parts $400 labor). From the research I did on this forum, it seems like a long list of things can affect the ABS from chaffed wires to the fuse not seated well. Can I get the part from anyone aside from Ford?
