It was fuse #16 (Trunk Release). Under the compartment lid that is on the left side under the steering wheel. It is a 5amp fuse. In the mean time I interchanged with fuse #20 just to turn the failure on and off. I am going to buy a spare just in case. I hope this helps everyone with the same failure of not opening trunk.
