Yes I actually like to torque spark plugs. One of the last items I want to leave not tight enough especially in a forced induction/high compression engine or strip threads in. Thank you in advance! Stickied. Late to the party here, but anyone know the torque spec for the rear LCA into knuckle bolt?

A new or reinstalled plug with a new gasket will require ⅜-⅝ turn to effect a gas tight seal depending on head material. Note: If using a torque wrench, please refer to the Torque Recommendations chart below. For reinstalled plugs with a used gasket only a ¼ turn is required for gas tight seal for both cast iron and aluminum cylinder heads.

If using a tapered (conical and with no gasket) seat plug type, after contact of the ‘shoulder’ or mating surface of the plug is made, only one sixteenth of a turn should be applied. This applies to both new and re-used taper seat type plugs (common in Ford engines).
