My dad’s 99′ classic z71 would cut off at 100. it sucks bc when i drive down to the city i do about 90 cruising and get it up faster to pass people and cant keep going bc she cuts off and shuts down No need to go faster than 100 especially in a truck.

As said above, will need an EPROM replacement or tune to change it. additionally your truck isn’t engineered to go over that 100mph. one specific example being your drive shaft.
