Can a battery die on a Chevy Tahoe?

Tahoe sits for more than 4 days and the battery dies. I was getting ready to take it in for service and have the battery checked and well, transmission went out the day prior to the service. Kicking myself for trading in the 03 Trail Blazer that cause me no problems. I’ve been reading the Inconsiderate Drivers discussion too long.
