As long as you have the 2 covers off anyway, it is just a matter of removing the connector and the 10mm bolt for each. If one is bad, I’m sure the other is ready to go bad soon. Fairly inexpensive part. Both were very easy to replace on my recently traded in 2014 Equinox.
