Summary: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicles (PHEV). The affected vehicles have diodes in the Power Inverter Module (“PIM”) that may fail due to an overvoltage condition. If the diodes fail, the vehicle will not move under its own power.

Chrysler kept the car for two days, mostly running software checks. They found two updates for the Transmission Control Module and completed them, then returned the car to me. So far so good, but I’ve only been driving it for a day.
