Re-Enable Sync Open Settings and under Sync, tap on Google. You can now disable and re-enable sync app or service wise, which is cool. Just tap on the service that’s giving the ‘sync is currently experiencing problems’ error, wait a few seconds to let it take effect, and then re-enable sync again.

2012 Ford Focus. Key is in the ignition and they car will tell me no key detected. It will also trigger my anti theft system when I unlock the door with the key. And my alarm will go off when I go to start the car if it doesn’t read my key right away. I don’t have a FOB. Just a manual key. I did just buy it used.

When we insert the key in the ignition, it says “no key detected.” This seems only to happen when we have driven the car, and then go to start it again within a half-hour or so (such as when you’re running a quick errand).
Is there a problem with my Ford Focus?
Luckily have not needed a tow. It eventually starts, sometimes after 7-8 turns but the dash and radio flash like a strobe light. I checked the battery, still getting 12V. Alternator tested fine too. Local mechanic suggested the body control module? It’s at the dealer now, will hopefully know more today.
