Why is my power board not working on my Silverado?
I had the same problem with my 2017 Sierra Denali power running board on the passenger side opening and going to the rear tire on its own. I was able to reset it by removing the fuse under the hood and that fixed it. Have the same problem, passenger side running board randomly and frequently extends to the rear of the truck.

After it was replaced, the power running boards do not work any more. I have tried switching them on and off. When the battery was replaced, the power running board switch was in the off position. Did you check the fuse? Yes, Sorry I did forget to mention that I replaced the 30A fuse.

How do you get a power running board out of a car?
Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position, with the engine off, and toggle the disable switch three times within 20 seconds to activate the power running boards. Close all doors. Open the left front or left rear door and the running board on the left side should articulate out.
