Why does my Ram 1500 battery shut off?
It’s the only car I have that wont take a jump from lithium jump pack (it starts my boat and Denali just fine). Seems like a vehicle with this much tech would have a battery shut off when voltage drops to a certain point. All the dash warning lights reset on their own after I charge the battery and start it back up.
What should I do if my Ram 1500 won’t start?
Start the engine with the donor battery connected. Make sure that you only use chargers that switch themselves off as soon as the battery is fully charged. The car charger must match the battery (performance, area of application). The RAM 1500 battery does not necessarily have to be removed.
Why did my battery die on my truck?
The truck hadn’t even been sitting for 24hrs, so there was no reason for the battery to be dead. Others have suspected that a UConnect update ran over night and hung up, therefore killing the battery. I’m not sure if that happened to mine or not, but it does make sense.

What causes a Dodge truck battery to go dead?
Finally got my long tube headers on a few weeks ago. Now, my battery goes dead when truck sits one or two days without being driven. I took the truck to get charging system checked and they said battery was bad, so I bought a new Optima Red top. Same thing, goes dead if I don’t drive it everyday.

Why is my Dodge Ram 1500 not starting?
No juice at all from battery. Tried to jump vehicle with no luck. Replaced the battery on 8 Feb 2017 after the same thing happened. Truck will be towed to the Dodge dealership today. Multiple attempts to start, occuring most often in the morning when the vehicle is cold. The problem has been getting worse over time.
