At the rear door ,there is a hidden Latch that only becomes visible when you pull on the Door Handles , check the latch with the white Striped arrow (pointing left) , as you pull the handle it should poke out a little as you see in the pic , if not feel it with your hand .

Why are the sliding doors on my Dodge Caravan not working?
I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Whether using the key remote, or the button inside the van, the 2 sliding doors may or may not lock/unlock. There’s no real rhyme or reason as to when they work. You can hear the sound]
Why are the door locks on my Suburban not working?
My 1997 2500 Suburban has a different twist. The lock/unlock switch on the driver side arm rest will not activate the door locks. But….. They all function automatically by locking when the truck is started and placed in gear and by unlocking when the truck is shut off. I checked the fuse box and found #13 fuse blown.
