Why does my Malibu Dashboard Light go off?

My wife has a 2013 Malibu. Her gauges would flicker and be dead for a few days then work than go off again. Our solution was a bad fuse located in the cabin left side. 19 people found this helpful. I also have the same problem on my 2010 malibu.

2013 chevy malibu. Took it to the dealership today because it wouldn’t start. Got it jumped and also asked them to check out the dash while it was there. Malibu LT 2012, Instrument cluster panel is dead: except engine light, no other lights get on. all the gauges stop working. I pull out instrument cluster panel fuse for one minute, reinsert it, then everything works normally. the next day or sometimes a few hours later, the instrument panel is dead again.
